What is AppInventor?
- Software for creating Android programs
- Uses an emulator for testing Android programs
- Software used on Mobile phones, it is Open Source, licensed to grant the right of users to use, study, change, and improve its design through the availability of its source code.
- Developed by Google, Operating System, Middleware and
Applications - Based on the Linux kernel, a bridge between applications and the
actual data processing done at the hardware level. - Linux is free ("think of free as in free speech, not as in free beer")
and open source software (GPLv2)
